Cher reveals why she prefers to date younger boyfriends and gives savage reason

Cher, 77, dating Alexander Edwards, over 30 years younger, explained her preference for younger partners, saying, “Men my age or older, well, now they’re all dead.” She met Edwards in 2022 at Paris Fashion Week. On The Jennifer Hudson Show, she revealed, “I’m kind of shy around men,” noting older men were too timid to approach her. She finds younger men bolder, possibly because they were “raised by women like me.”

Despite their 39-year age gap, Cher enjoys her time with Edwards. However, she faces challenges due to generational differences. Cher shared an amusing incident where Edwards didn’t recognize Clark Gable, revealing, “Most of my references… He’ll look at me and go: ‘I wasn’t born yet.’”

Nevertheless, they connect over music and humor, cherishing their relationship and Edwards’ adorable son.
