What a tragedy, Wednesday actress passed away

Lisa Loring, who was 64 years old when she passed away, was the actress who played Wednesday Addams in the first version of The Addams Family.

On Saturday, Lisa passed away after reportedly suffering “a huge stroke” in the days leading up to her death.

On Sunday, Lisa’s close friend Laure Jacobson broke the sad news about her passing away by posting it on Facebook.

Laure stated the following in her post: “I write this with a heavy heart to inform you that our dear friend Lisa Loring passed away recently. She had a big stroke just four days earlier, which was brought on by her smoking and her high blood pressure.

After that, she said, “She had been on life support for three days.” Her family made the heartbreaking decision to remove it yesterday, and she went away last night after a brief battle with the illness.

Tributes have been pouring in for the actress who, between the years 1964 and 1966, performed the role of Wednesday Addams in the first film version of Charles Addams’ New Yorker cartoon character Wednesday Addams. Her death was reported on Sunday.

When the American actress initially portrayed the well-known role, she was only six years old. Since then, the character has gone on to become the most recognizable aspect of the enormously successful show. The most recent appearance of Wednesday on our screens was in 2022, when she was portrayed by Jenna Ortega in the Netflix series Wednesday.
