Sandra Bullock is turning 60, but she won’t be celebrating due to a heartbreaking reason.

Sandra Bullock, the Academy Award-winning actress, celebrated her 60th birthday on July 26 amidst a period of personal challenge. It’s been almost a year since Bullock announced the passing of her long-time partner Bryan Randall.

Randall, who had been in a relationship with Bullock since 2015, succumbed to ALS at the age of 57 following a three-year battle with the disease.

This loss came shortly after Bullock declared a hiatus from her acting career in order to focus on her family, including her two children, now aged 11 and 14.

Despite the emotional turmoil, Bullock is reportedly “doing okay” now, according to a close source to her friend Jennifer Aniston. The source shared that Bullock’s children are thriving, and she finds great joy in motherhood.

Bullock has received substantial support from her friends during Randall’s illness and after his passing. The same source expressed Bullock’s gratitude for the love and support she received during this difficult time.

At the time of Randall’s death, Bullock had starred in the 2022 films “Bullet Train” and “The Lost City,” the latter of which she also produced. During a 2022 interview, Bullock hinted that “The Lost City” would be her final film for some time as she felt the need to step back and prioritize her personal life.

Although she has been absent from the big screen since then, Bullock has hinted at a potential return to acting. In May, while commemorating the 30th anniversary of her film “Speed” with co-star Keanu Reeves on the 50 MPH podcast, Bullock and Reeves discussed the possibility of another collaboration.

Bullock humorously mentioned that they might even consider a third “Speed” film, joking about the prospect of doing it in wheelchairs or with walkers.
