One of the subjects that seems to get a lot of attention, and not always on the positive side, is the topic of breastfeeding. It’s completely natural and in a way that mothers are not only able to feed the babies, they bond with them as well.

Most mothers will feed their children for a few months or perhaps a year or so after they are born. There are some others, however, who decide to extend the time and that includes the celebrities we have for you below.

As an actress and author, she is well known on the screen but she also is a mother behind the screen with her son Fred. She nursed him for four years and three months, saying that there were a lot of nutritional benefits and some challenges that went with it as well.

This actress and mother has three children and she still is breast-feeding her 2-year-old. She considers it to be a moment of perfect happiness, saying that her body was made for that purpose.

3. Nelly Furtado

This singer had a daughter in 2003 and breastfed her for two years. She said that once she stopped breastfeeding, she had more energy and wanted other mothers to try it for themselves.
