Outraged Celebrity Reacts Strongly to Conservative Country Song

Country music artist Sheryl Crow recently criticized Jason Aldean’s song “Try That In A Small Town” on Twitter. Aldean’s song expresses frustration with riots and looting, suggesting that such criminal behavior wouldn’t be tolerated in small towns. Crow, however, argued that the song promotes violence and questioned Aldean’s stance, given his experience as a survivor of the 2017 Las Vegas shooting.

Crow’s tweet sparked backlash from country music fans who defended Aldean’s message of protecting one’s community rather than promoting violence. Critics of Crow’s response felt she misunderstood the song’s intent, which is to highlight small-town resilience against crime, not to endorse violence.
