Former One Direction star Liam Payne, 31, died after falling from the third floor of his hotel room in Argentina, according to state police. Payne was staying at the CasaSur Hotel in the trendy Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. Alberto Crescenti, head of the state emergency medical system, told Argentina’s Todo Noticias TV that Payne fell into the hotel’s courtyard. Crescenti declined to answer further questions about the incident, including whether Payne’s fall was accidental or intentional.
