NFL reporter confirms passing of 2-year-old daughter after cancer diagnosis

NFL reporter Doug Kyed shared the tragic news of his two-year-old daughter Hallie’s passing, nine months after her leukemia diagnosis in April 2023. Despite undergoing a bone marrow transplant, Hallie relapsed, and on a recent Sunday morning, she passed away peacefully in her parents’ arms.

Doug and his wife Jen expressed profound grief, with Jen describing an “excruciating” pain and an unfillable void left by Hallie’s absence. Throughout Hallie’s fight against acute myeloid leukemia, the family balanced hospital stays with caring for their older daughter, Olivia, while trying to remain hopeful. Rest in peace, Hallie.
