“Did You Really Think No One Would Notice?”: CBS Faces Fire For Nixing NFL Star’s Trump-Inspired Celebration from Highlights

Woke, legacy media station CBS is under fire from online conservatives over its very controversial decision to remove footage of a post-touchdown celebration from a Las Vegas Raiders player that was seen as having been a nod to a now-famous dance coined by President-elect Donald Trump at his presidential rallies.

That player was Brock Bowers, tight end for the Las Vegas Raiders. Bowers, when he broke through a tackle attempt and scored a 23-yard touchdown in the third quarter of the Raiders game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, November 17, performed a celebratory dance in the end zone quite like the famous dance Trump does at his rallies.

The dance involves rhythmically moving one’s fists, raised vertically toward the head with elbows close to the waist. It has taken off in popularity since the president-elect’s victory in the presidential election on November 5, with young people taking to social media, particularly TikTok, to do the dance.

In any case, when Bowers did the dance move during the game, CBS aired it. The NFL, despite the semi-political nature of the dance, even included it in its posts, and the moment went viral online, with conservatives loving it and leftists, if they got the reference, hating it. But CBS, in its highlight reel, cut the dance out. That infuriated people online.
