Except for one of the most famous game shows, Wheel of Fortune, Woolery also hosted Love Connection and Lingo among the rest.

In later years, Woolery hosted the podcast Blunt Force Truth, a popular right-wing podcast. In it, the television icon shared his conservative views.

 

Woolery was born on March 16, 1941, in Ashland, Kentucky. At the start of his career, he tried himself in music with the band The Avant-Garde that he formed together with Elkin “Bubba” Fowler in 1967. It was their song Naturally Stoned that helped them grow to fame.
