A Goodbye to a Legendary Country Music Icon

Country music legend Alan Jackson, 66, has officially ended his touring career due to ongoing health struggles with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a genetic neurological condition affecting his balance and mobility. His final roadshow took place in Milwaukee, marking the close of his “Last Call: One More for the Road” tour.

Jackson, known for hits like “Chattahoochee,” emotionally told fans, “This is my last roadshow,” but promised one final farewell concert in Nashville next summer — where his journey began.

Despite retiring from the stage, Jackson isn’t done with music. He plans to continue writing and recording, saying, “There’ll be more music to come.”

A true icon, Jackson leaves behind a legacy of heartfelt country music and an inspiring career spanning over four decades.
