KENTUCKY COUPLE LOSES ARMS HOLDING EACH OTHER IN TORNADO

Paul and Gail Cline, a married couple in their 60s, each lost an arm while holding onto one another during a devastating EF-4 tornado in Kentucky on May 16. Their home was destroyed, but their bond survived the storm.

After days apart and critical injuries, the couple has now reunited in the hospital. Gail’s first words after being taken off a ventilator were, “I love you.”

Their story has touched hearts across the nation — a powerful reminder of love, resilience, and hope in the face of unthinkable tragedy.

Despite the pain and a long road to recovery, Paul and Gail’s spirits remain strong. Their family says they’re taking it one day at a time — and they’re not alone. Support is pouring in from across the country.
