Legendary Leeds Rhinos and England Star, Dies at 41 After Brave Battle With MND

Among those present were Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Burrow’s former teammate; Tanya Curry, CEO of the MND Association; and James Lewis, leader of Leeds City Council.

On July 7, as Burrow’s funeral cortege made its way to a private service, the streets were lined with supporters wearing Leeds Rhinos shirts in a heartfelt tribute. His wife Lindsey, their three children, and close family members accompanied him. The hearse paused for a touching moment at Featherstone Lions’ ground, where Burrow began his rugby journey as a junior player.
