THE CAMERA THAT TOLD THE TRUTH

In May 2013, Robert Miller took his ten-year-old daughter Emily for a fishing trip at Lake Harrison in Cedar Grove, Wisconsin. What was supposed to be a joyful Saturday never ended as expected. When they didn’t return, a desperate search began, but the woods yielded no trace of them. Weeks turned into months, and Robert’s wife, Laura, was left clinging to fading hope. Then, a hunter stumbled across Emily’s waterproof camera months later. On it were photos of their final hours—smiling by the lake, wandering deeper into the forest, and finally, Robert carrying Emily on his shoulders, exhausted and lost.
