FARMER’S PIG DIGS UP A SECRET THAT PUT A KILLER BEHIND BARS

One late September morning, I noticed my boar, Chester, obsessively digging in the same corner of his pen. For days, he refused to stop, guarding the hole as though something important lay beneath. When I finally grabbed a shovel to investigate, I uncovered scraps of fabric and, horrifyingly, what appeared to be human remains.

The authorities soon confirmed it: my pig had led me to the buried body of Linda Brennan, the wife of the farm’s previous owner who had been “missing” for years. Her husband, Harold Brennan, was later arrested and convicted of her murder. Chester’s persistence solved a crime that might have remained hidden forever.
