Man Shows Up To His Wedding in Jeans And A T-Shirt, And People Were Furious

A young groom caused a stir on social media when he showed up to his wedding in jeans and a T-shirt.

In a TikTok video, 16-year-old Violet Price showed her “best friend” Catherine Nicholson getting married to her casually dressed husband.

More than 1.5 million people have watched the video online, and many of them don’t like how casually the groom is dressed, according to YorkshireLive.

He dressed for the event in a black T-shirt from the streetwear brand Palm Angels, wearing it with gray washed pants and sneakers.

Kate, the bride, wore a more classic dress. She wore a white mermaid-style wedding dress with a lace train and a waistband that was pulled in.

Two teenage girls were seen having fun on a carnival ride in the video. Violet accompanied the video with the comment, “My best friend a couple of months ago telling me she ain’t gunna fall in love.”

“I ain’t falling in love this summer, I do my thing this summer” can be heard saying by both of them in the background. The video then cuts to Catherine on her wedding day, just two months later.

“Did he not know he was getting married?” asked someone.

Someone else joked, “Wedding at 5. Wetherspoons with the lads at 6.”

“I would’ve done a u turn as soon as I saw him.” said a third person who also said how beautiful Catherine looked.

“This is probably indicative of the amount of effort he’ll put into the marriage as well,” one person commented.

A young groom caused a stir on social media when he showed up to his wedding in jeans and a T-shirt.
“Imagine putting all the effort into looking beautiful & then your ‘fiancé’ shows up like THAT?”

Violet, on the other hand, wouldn’t have any of it. She told trolls who question her friend’s happiness, “For God sake stop, she’s married and very happy.”

“She’s not bothered what way he dressed, she’s married and that’s all that matters.”

Even though a lot of people were mad, Violet Price stood by her best friend’s fiancé.
