At 77, Sally Field has never undergone plastic surgery and has aged naturally. How does she look now?

At 76 years old, Sally Field continues to shine in Hollywood, a testament to her natural approach to aging in an industry often criticized for its intense scrutiny on women’s appearances.

Born in 1946 in Pasadena, California, Sally Field began her ascent to stardom with roles in television series like “Gidget” and “The Flying Nun,” before transitioning to a successful film career with notable roles in “Smokey and the Bandit,” “Norma Rae,” “Mrs. Doubtfire,” and “Forrest Gump.”

Despite the pressures of Hollywood, Field has chosen to age gracefully, eschewing plastic surgery—a decision she has spoken about publicly. In a 2009 interview with Good Housekeeping, Field expressed her thoughts on seeing herself age on screen.

“I see myself on TV and I say, ‘Oh, I wish that weren’t happening to my neck. And your face is falling down, and your eyes are so puffy.’” However, she remains critical of plastic surgery, noting the changes it has made to others she once admired, stating, “Now I think, Oh, dear, don’t do that! And it seems to be terribly disrespectful to who they are now.”

Her stance on embracing natural beauty and the aging process was highlighted during her acceptance speech for the Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award in February 2023. Field described the empowerment she feels from her years: “I’m an old woman, 70 is old, and that’s okay. I’ve gathered strength behind my years, I owned them, I’ve earned them, I’ve deserved them, I have a right to have them. And I don’t like my neck, I don’t like a lot of things but it’s okay.”

Sally Field’s career is decorated with numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, three Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globes, and two SAG Awards, including the prestigious Life Achievement Award, alongside two BAFTA Film Award nominations and a Tony nomination. As an actress and an activist, Field remains a prominent figure, celebrated not just for her enduring talent but also for her authentic approach to life and aging in Hollywood.
