BREAKING NEWS! Horrific accident.

At least 15 people died on Thursday in a tragic accident in Manitoba, Canada, when a bus carrying mostly elderly passengers collided with a truck at a major highway intersection near Carberry, located 170 kilometers west of Winnipeg. The bus was en route to a Carberry casino, and Deputy Police Officer Rob Hill confirmed that “at least 15 individuals were pronounced dead” among the approximately 25 passengers, with ten others hospitalized; both drivers survived, though the cause of the collision remains undisclosed. Images from the scene depicted destroyed wheelchair seats and walking frames near the covered bodies.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson both extended their condolences to the victims’ families. This incident is one of the deadliest in recent Canadian history, following a similar 2018 accident in Saskatchewan that claimed 16 lives and the worst tragedy in 1997 in Quebec, which resulted in 44 deaths. These events serve as a stark reminder of the importance of vigilance and responsibility on the road to prevent such incidents.
