On February 17, 2025, Delta Air Lines Flight 4819, operated by Endeavor Air, crashed while landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport. The Bombardier CRJ-900 had departed from Minneapolis–Saint Paul with 76 passengers and four crew members.

At 2:15 p.m. local time, the aircraft veered off course upon touchdown, flipped upside down, and skidded along the snowy runway. Emergency crews responded quickly as thick smoke billowed from the wreckage. Miraculously, all 80 people on board survived, though 18 were injured—three critically.

Toronto Pearson’s CEO, Deborah Flint, expressed relief that there were no fatalities and praised the swift actions of responders. Delta Air Lines confirmed its full cooperation with investigators.
