Nicholas King Nolte was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on February 8, 1941. Nolte grew up in a middle-class home. His father, Franklin Arthur Nolte, was a traveling salesman, and his mother, Helen King Nolte, was an antiques expert who worked as a buyer in a department store.
Because Nolte’s family tree is so mixed, with German, English, Scottish, and Swiss-German roots, he grew up with a lot of different culture influences.
Career and Schooling Early on
Nolte got his start as an actor after getting football scholarships to several schools, such as Arizona State University and Eastern Arizona College.
